The band's name is Lannanian

Note: This song is very powerful as it points out a huge problem facilitating the continued oppression and dictatorship in Thailand: basically that many have been conditioned  to think they should bow down and submit to powerful people and nobility, especially the King. Thailand needs a Thomas Paine (one of the American Founding Fathers, who wrote "Common Sense" a popular book attacking the so called "divine right" of kings.) In fact, many exiled Thai YouTube broadcasters in the Thai pro-democracy movement are carrying out the revolutionary project of providing uncensored information and teaching the norms of democracy, from locations around the world. I was surprised to learn that many of my PeeNong (brothers and sisters) in this movement sleep all day and get up in the middle of the night to broadcast live to Thailand. This song is always used at the beginning of broadcasts by Dr. Piangdin Rakthai (of San Francisco.)

Faiyen's "Return Democracy to Thailand!" (the spoof of Prayuth's "Returning Happiness to Thailand):

Note: Thailand's current military dictator, Prayuth Chano-o-cha, immediately after overthrowing the elected government of Yingluck Shinawatra in May 2014, famously penned the song  "Returning Happiness to Thailand," which was released as part of the pro-junta propaganda campaign that included dancing girls dressed in soldier uniforms (you can see a clip of this in the "Returning Happiness to Thailand" video above). "Return Democracy to the People!" is a spoof of Dictator Prayuth's "Returning Happiness to Thailand." It's pretty funny to hear Port Faiyen sing back to Prayuth in the same bland, rapturous pop style of the original: "If you want to increase happiness, you should instantly leave." Also, you should see the video "Returning Happiness to Thailand" right now, before the censors find we are making fun of it and it is blocked. It is hard to find the original of this song on the Internet. The reason the government pulled it was probably that so many foreign news outlets thought it was funny and tried to link to it as part of their reporting on Thailand's coup.

คิดถึงบ้าน Kit Teung Baan (I Miss Home)

December 2st, 2016, Vajiralongkorn became Thailand's new King. While the Bangkok Post headline read "Joyous Thais await new King" the truth is much different. Among Thais in Thailand, Vajiralongkorn is widely hated and with good reason. This video is a famous Thai song "Kit Teung Baan" ("I Miss Home") illustrated with pictures of the four children he disowned and exiled in 1996 after divorcing their mother!!! [Edit: That video was taken down and I've replaced it by the song not illustrated by pictures of the King's children] These four sons are never allowed to return to Thailand! Learn more about them HERE.  But at least this ex-family is still alive. His third wife, ex-Princess Srirasmi, he divorced in 2014, stripped her of her royal title and exiled her to the countryside, and allowed most of her family go to jail for lese majesty - that is insulting royalty!!! Worse still, none of them have been seen in a long time, they are not in the homes or prisons they are said to be, and some fear that the ex-Princess has been murdered (as of December 3, 2016). We anxiously wait for proof that they are in fact still alive.
